To err is human, to forgive divine,
to err is thyself, to not forgive blessing,
for thy life, memories, I turn blind,
thy death I pray, thy misery I sing,

heaven seems to smile upon me,
hell balances the scale,
I do not mind, going on a spree,
thy existence such an ail,

revenge in my left palm, penitence in my right,
with bestowed power, shall I grip thy neck,
whence I see thee, thou vice like blight,
thou are all black, with light a fleck,

be banished, be gone,
I thy cavalier no more,
curse upon all your spawns,
thy implore I ignore.
